What we have improved in 30 years

Experience and time is what enables a business to transform and better itself. Entegra Signature Structures has been operating as a family business since 1986 in Swan Hill Victoria.  At the beginning when cash and capital were scarce commodities, many critics said that the business wouldn’t succeed. However, with the power of motivation and commitment to hard work, Entegra is still alive today and is expanding rapidly.

Over the years of operating, Entegra has made many decisions and taken many risks which have all benefitted the business in the future.

MANUFACTURING KICK-OFF

In the years between 1990- 1996 Entegra made the move to manufacture their own structures. Due to poor ethical standards the founder saw a clear need to begin manufacturing. This inspiration lead to the innovation of the first ever “Roof Lift”; from here the business steadily began to grow.

Progress and expansion continued when Entegra created their first 50m clear span building. As customer base grew, Entegra took action and promptly built a new premise. This allowed the business to take on more projects and satisfy their growing market.

INNOVATING  FOR THE FUTURE

Between 2007-2015 the new generation of family joined the business, bringing along a renewed energy and range of skills, knowledge and ideas to the board. From here the business sky rocketed as they built a helicopter hangar for Davis Base, Antarctica. Furthermore, in 2013, having learnt that great things take time, Entegra’s new curved design for Equine Arena rooflines were noticed and gained momentum in the market.

Due to high performance, what was once known as Swan Hill Engineering progressed and rebranded to become Entegra Signature Structures. This change improved the business significantly by broadening their horizons and enabling marketing opportunities further afield and internationally.

Entegra has improved by focusing not only on business activities but also by getting involved in the community. Entegra provided support to charities such as ‘Colour Your Run’ to help raise money for individuals and families affected by cancer and terminal illness. The principles behind ‘Colour Your Run’ strongly align with Entegra’s, in giving back to the community and helping to make a difference in peoples lives. By remaining true to their core values and family morals Entegra has been able to connect with the outside community and gain the support from local businesses.

In addition, taking up past development and expansion opportunities along with recognising potential threats has lead Entegra to more than double in size in over thirty years of operation.  With strong foundations of manufacturing and construction Entegra is now able to focus on systems and software, enabling them to stay competitive whilst continuing to stay family orientated.

Entegra Signature Structures has transformed into a productive, growing, ethical and successful company. Entegra has overtime enhanced their reputation by constantly seeking to build strong, meaningful and sustainable relationships with clients, staff and suppliers. Their success has overall been a result of dedication, passion and a desire to keep improving.

The next five years will be pivotal in using new engineering techniques, with robots and technology to bring cost-effective, steel frames to the market.
