Everything you need to know about Farm Fest Toowoomba

There is good news for fans of the annual Farm Fest event. The Queensland Government has given the go-ahead for a COVID-19 safe version of Farm Fest to happen this year. The Challenge of Hosting Farm Fest in Toowoomba in COVID-19 Times

ACM Rural Events has given total commitment to addressing the challenge of hosting Farm Fest during a time of global pandemic. The strategy of developing a hybrid event aims to provide the best possible experience for those attending in person and virtually as well as promoting sales and generating leads for companies within the industry.

In order to deliver a safe and successful event, the opening hours have been extended to 8:30am to 5pm on Tuesday and Wednesday and 8:30am to 4pm on Thursday.

For anyone wanting to attend, the simplest way to do so is to use the Check in Qld app. Once the app is downloaded, it’s easy to scan the QR code on a smartphone when approaching the event and pay $6 to enter using a contactless payment method.

Free copies of the Farm Fest official guide are available on entry. There is also a Farm Fest app that can be downloaded for Apple and Android devices.

Car parking is available at the site and there is a limited shuttle service.

What to Expect at Farm Fest 2021

More than 2,000 companies will be showcased at Farm Fest this year and more than 60,000 people are expected to attend in person or virtually. The occasion is expected to be one of the most successful in Farm Fest’s long history.

It’s the perfect opportunity for companies to show off their products and find new leads and customers.

The positive vibe surrounding this year’s event is accompanied by an upbeat feeling throughout the agriculture industry overall. This is largely due to improved seasonal conditions and strong prices for the majority of farm commodities.

New Features for Farm Fest 2021

There are some exciting new features to enjoy at Farm Fest 2021 including expos on agri-tech and education. These are two of the most important drivers in improving efficiency and productivity in agriculture in Australia.

For those attending Farm Fest in person, there is a 25 hectare display area and several machinery demonstrations are due to take place. There will also be demonstrations of drones, side-by-sides, and working dogs.

That’s not all; attendees can also enjoy the Lifestyle Shopping Arcade and Market Place where more than 100 general exhibits will be on display.

The excitement over Farm Fest 2021 is building as the COVID-19 safe event draws near. The organisers have worked hard to make sure that this year’s event is full of enjoyment and beneficial to the future of the agriculture industry.
